ILC was founded in 2020 to provide the highest standards of surgical practices in liver transplantation, liver, biliary tract, and pancreatic surgery by delivering an exceptional standard of patient care. ILC team is experienced at using the most state-of-the-art surgical techniques with an international and multidisciplinary approach. ILC offers a collaborative approach to patient care in a growing international team, working closely with the other experts in Surgery, Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Oncology and Pathology.

ILC supports continuous education and organizes the literature reviews, web seminars to follow the novel technologies, the most up-to-date processes of clinical practices worldwide by the experts in the field. Multidisciplinary tumor councils are held to address all aspects of the disease and to plan the most efficient treatment plan.

Prof. Tokat is a member of the executive council at ILTS, APASL, and ISLS. Prof. Balci is the chair of the scientific committee of the ISLS.
